Microsoft is not providing support or updates for the changes in Daylight Savings Time (DST) this year on Sunday March 11th at 2am. So users of Windows 95, 98, 98se, ME, NT and 2000 need to use unofficial patches if they want the clocks on their computers showing the correct time during the 3 added weeks in March and one week in November.

Here is a link to instructions and utilities on updating your Windows system for the changes to Daylight Savings Time. You can also use the tzedit utility to edit the Timezone files manually.

Or you can all us at 650-596-3500 and we'll do the update for a small fee.

If you've turned off automatic updates in Windows XP you also probably do NOT have the Daylight Savings Time updates on your computer and should also read the article. Microsoft requires that Windows XP have Service Pack 2 installed and that the system be certified as legitimate via Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) before you can install the patches for Windows XP.
