Going on-line for the first time can be a frightening experience. Modem settings, I.P. address, phone line installations…it can be a little overwhelming. If you sign-up with our one year plan, we will set-up your computer and update all security patches. Just call for your appointment. Feel free to ask for help…that’s why we’re here.

Domain Name Registration: www.yourname.com

Your domain name is essentially your address on the Web, i.e. "www.yourdomain.com" and would be directly connected to your website without the use of the reference or a directory name. Having your own domain name gives potential customers an easy avenue to your email and Web site.

You can register a domain name with A-Street Internet. You purchase your domain with Network Solutions which charges a yearly fee and A-Street becomes the host of your domain. The fees we charge are for maintaining your domain name on our servers and serving up your web pages to visitors while you are with A-Street Internet.

Search Engine Placement

What is a search engine? A search engine is a tool that allows you to access information over the Web. There are many search engines to choose from (Google, Yahoo, Excite, Alta Vista, etc…). Proper construction and maintenance is required to place your site in the top search engines.

A-Street will modify your web site page to optimize placement in search engines.

Additional E-Mail Boxes (IMAP)

If you want one account but want to have 2 or more e-mail boxes, A-Street Internet will add additional boxes.

Web Page Hosting

If all you’re looking for is a host for your web page. A-Street Internet will place your web site on our server for $15/month with 35 megabytes disk space.
