 | | Y2K7: The Daylight Savings Time comes earlier and ends later in 2007 Posted on Tuesday, March 06 2007 @ 14:09 PST Topic: A-Street |
The Energy Policy Act of 2005 has
lengthened daylight saving time by four weeks in the US.
Instead of beginning the first Sunday of April and running through the last Sunday in October, daylight saving time will now stretch from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November. Electronic devices that track time will need to be updated to handle the new start and end dates.
Here is
info on the forthcoming Daylight Savings Time changes and patches you may have to install on many electronic devices that track time. |
